Jessica Bell serves as the Ontario NDP critic for Housing, leading the work to ensure everyone in Ontario has a home they can afford that meets their needs.
Prior to being elected in June 2018, Jessica served as the co-founder and executive director of Canada's largest rider-led organization, TTCriders, winning better service and lower fares for transit riders.
She’s been a lecturer at the Toronto Metropolitan University, the director of the California Food & Justice Coalition and an advocate for environmental justice and sustainability for some of North America's most high profile and effective advocacy organizations. She’s received several leadership awards for her 20 year record securing legislative results, including Toronto Community Foundation’s Vital People Award and GreenPAC's political endorsement in 2018.
Jessica lives in University-Rosedale with her partner and two children.
