Emergency online learning was challenging for many parents, kids and teachers. No matter where kids learn, we need to do more to support high quality public education in Ontario.
Join me on Monday June 29 from 6-7pm on Facebook Livestream to learn about and discuss what school should look like when kids return. I will be joined by special guests:
- Marit Stiles, MPP for Davenport parent and former School Board Trustee
- Nigel Barriffe, educator with the Toronto district School Board.
- Rachel Huot, Ontario Parent Action Network
- Dr. Michelle Science, infectious disease specialist, Sick Kids
Do you have questions or comments about...
… what a safe return to school should look like?
… what changes do you want to see to education in September?
… what supports do kids, parents and teachers need?
… the future of online learning?
… are schools prepared for a second wave of COVID-19?
I want to hear from you about what is needed to get education right in September.
