The fight to protect Toronto’s bike lanes is reaching a critical moment. Doug Ford is removing a stretch of the Bloor bike lane in Etobicoke, and another 19 km of protected bike lanes on Yonge, Avenue, and Bloor are next in line.
Join me and my colleague MPP Alexa Gilmour, along with Cycle Toronto, Friends and Families for Safe Streets, Advocacy for Respect for Cyclists (ARC), Doctors for Safe Cycling, The Biking Lawyer, For Our Kids Toronto, and the University of Toronto Graduate Students’ Union (UTGSU) for a community town hall.
We’ll share the latest updates, discuss what comes next, and organize to protect our bike lanes.
