Recently, the Toronto District School Board unveiled its proposed budget for the upcoming academic year, and unfortunately, the outlook is concerning for learners of all ages.

The projected shortfall of $27.6 million is alarming, and the proposed measures to address this deficit are deeply troubling. Among the proposed cuts are reductions to vital programs such as Learn4Life, seniors daytime learning programs, after-school language classes, and African heritage classes. Furthermore, there are plans to scale back outdoor education programs, including essential grade 6 weekend trips.

Tell the Ford Government to invest in our public education programs.
