The last year and a half has been an extremely difficult time for students, parents and educators and the government needs to do everything in its power to make schools as safe and as normal as possible.
Hybrid learning will not achieve that. It will force teachers to split their time and focus between in-person and virtual classes and students will not receive the attention and support they need to excel in school. The hybrid model is disruptive, ineffective, and does not provide the quality of education that children deserve.
We need more funding for public education so that school boards can create a system that works for every student, parent, and educator. If hybrid learning is implemented in the next school year many of our youth will suffer. We cannot let this happen.
Take action by signing our petition below and sending a message to the Ford government saying that you do not support hybrid learning and you do support more funding for public education.
